BR Design Associates reimagined four levels of amenity spaces for Ocean West Capital Partners at 285 Madison Avenue, crafting a series of distinct yet interconnected environments that balance sophistication, comfort, and functionality. Each level was designed with its own character, unified by a focus on texture, light, and material harmony.
The rooftop penthouse embodies understated luxury, featuring deep red accents, natural light woods, rounded neutral furnishings, and marble pantry backsplashes. Sunlight floods the space, creating a bright yet subtly moody ambiance that feels both elevated and inviting.
On the ground floor, a refined material palette of brassy metal finishes, glass fronts, and rich fabrics defines the atmosphere. Deep emerald upholstery and mustard accents bring warmth and contrast, while leather seating, biophilic artwork, and layered lighting create an intimate yet professional environment anchored by a private conference room.
Descending to the cellar amenities, the design transitions to a more dramatic tone. A golf simulator, fitness center with backlit mirrors, and jewel-toned finishes—ruby, emerald, and dark wood—combine with moody lighting to evoke a sense of exclusivity and retreat.
The roof deck completes the experience, featuring natural wood surfaces, plush modular seating, and warm wall lighting that enhances the inviting glow of the central firepit. The result is a collection of amenity spaces that offer both visual cohesion and experiential variety—each thoughtfully curated to elevate the tenant experience at 285 Madison.
